This is an Introductory Video (in Spanish) made by participants at training and workshops which were held for the Chinantec indigenous people in Oaxaca, México, facilitated by Insight.

6 Chinantec villages have signed up to a community conservation plan to continue to protect the cloud forests of Oaxaca, Mexico. This is one of the world's most precious resources and richest areas of biodiversity. The Global Diversity Foundation (GDF) is co-ordinating a partnership with the Corenchi community association, a local conservation organisation called Geo conservacion, and Insight UK -who are specialists in capacity building marginalised communities in Participatory Video; to offer a series of courses in communication and video, legal aspects of conservation, community conservation methods, and other practical tools to assist the local indigenous stewards of Biocultural diversity
